Favorite Recipe: Anything my fiancé cooks. We are actually keeping a cookbook with little inserts about that particular time. That way it is more of a story with food rather than just ingredients on a page.

Favorite Local Spot in Pittsburgh/Ligonier: Mia Madre Trattoria in Avalon. A very authentic small Italian restaurant that is insanely good.
Favorite Annual Event in or around Pittsburgh/Ligonier: This is not so much an “event” per se, but I absolutely love the fall time. There is nothing better than walking outside with a chill in the air and checking out all the beautiful colors as the leaves start to change. In addition to those things, it is also the start of football season!
Favorite Hobby (include how/why you got into it): Hunting is one of my families’ favorite activities. From the time I was a small kid I remember walking in the woods with my grandfather, dad, brothers and uncles. Duck season over the past couple years has turned into an annual voyage with my older brother Cory. To get out and walk the streams with him just makes life feel a little simpler for those couple hours.
